If your schedule allows, we recommend the full-day trip, since it covers nearly twice the distance and river time for a similar overall experience. The half-day is the better choice if you’re short on time or traveling with guests who prefer a shorter day on the water.
Quick-dry clothing, a swimsuit, sunscreen, and sunglasses are recommended. Weather in March can still be chilly (a wetsuit may be worth renting), while April and early May tend to run warm to hot. Full packing details are on our Packing List page.
