The Lower Blue River below the Dillon Reservoir is a wonderfully mild class II section fantastic for float fishing trips. This short stretch offers some mild whitewater as it passes through a wooded gorge.

The Blue River is in the White River National Forest and is managed by the U.S. Forest Service.
