Join Wilderness Aware and our amazing friend and yoga instructor, Ann Mullins Bulka, for this 3-day yoga and rafting retreat on the Arkansas River.

Take a break from daily schedules, to-do lists and the rush of modern life. Experience the natural rhythms and excitement of life on the river.

Centered in the peaceful power of nature, this retreat offers participants rejuvenation and solitude as well as a sense of freedom, adventure and community.

Ann will offer safe, alignment-based yoga sessions adapted for students of all levels of experience. Variations will be provided. Classes will incorporate heart-centered themes to cultivate skillful awareness.

This 68-mile trip covers three sections of the Arkansas River’s best whitewater and begins in the fast-moving currents of the Narrows. Day two includes spectacular scenery of Browns Canyon National Monument. Upper Bighorn Sheep Canyon has milder rapids and is a great way to spend the third day on the river.

Life on the River

Surrounded by Colorado’s rugged beauty, your day begins with an energizing yoga session and a freshly-made, nourishing breakfast. Once on the river, the exhilaration of fresh air, expansive mountain views and thrilling rapids make every moment delightful and inspiring.

After a day on the river, set up camp on a sun-drenched shoreline. Feel free to enjoy a late-afternoon gentle/restorative yoga session, take a nap or just kick back and read a book.

Gather around the campfire after a delicious dinner to share hearty laughter and stories of the day. Fall asleep to the sounds of the river under a blanket of stars.

Yoga Experience: Safe, alignment-based yoga sessions will be adapted for participants of all levels of experience.
