This trip is a great introduction to rafting with a longer warm-up
prior to the big rapids of Browns Canyon than our standard ½-day trip.
This may be the perfect trip if part of your group is too young or old to
handle the bigger whitewater of Browns Canyon. You can bring children as young
as 4 years old and grandparents on the first hour of this adventure by signing
them up on our Splash-N-Dash Family
Rafting Trip. More adventurous members of the group then will extend the
trip through the Browns Canyon ½
Day section…the most popular section of the Arkansas River-America's
most popular rafting river!
This trip begins in our beautiful riverside picnic area at our
centrally located office. Following a short walk to your raft that is already
in the water and ready to go, you will raft about one and one half hours of
mild whitewater prior to hitting the class 3-4 rapids of Browns Canyon.
