Wilderness Aware Trip Policies:
Wilderness Aware Pregnancy Policy
- Wilderness Aware does not allow any individual that is more than 3 months pregnant to participate in rafting. We do not recommend horseback riding or downhill mountain biking if you are pregnant.
Wilderness Aware Alcohol Policy
- Wilderness Aware does not allow the consumption of alcohol before or during rafting, horseback riding, jeep tours or downhill mountain biking. Alcohol is permitted on overnight rafting trips and is allowed to be consumed in the evening, while in camp and is to be held in plastic or metal containers, no glass.
Wilderness Aware Cancellation Policy
- Wilderness Aware allows any group or individual to cancel their trip up to 10 days prior to departure and receive a refund with the exception of a $5 per person processing fee for 1/2 and full day trips and a $50 per person processing fee for multi-day trips. If the group or individual chooses to cancel within 10 days prior to departure, for any reason, there will be no refund issued.
Wilderness Aware Cancellation Insurance Policy
- If you take out insurance you may cancel up to 24 hours before your trip departure with no penalty. If you cancel within 24 hours, but at least one hour prior to your trip departure, we will give you trip credit (gift certificate) valid through next season. Cancellation insurance must be purchased for the entire group and costs 10% of your trip total.
