Hello, my name is Katie, I'm originally from downstate Michigan. I am currently working on my bachelor's degree in forestry at Michigan Technological University. My college career has taken me to New York and back to Michigan. While in New York, I worked for the National Park Service and gained the nickname "Marsh Warrior". In case you're unfamiliar with life in the Upper Peninsula, we have 10 months of winter and 2 months of bad sledding which I'm trading out for the rafting season.
