These rides are northwest of Leadville and are permitted to run on forest service land. Wilderness trips include unspoiled scenery including views of Mt. Massive, Colorado’s largest mountain and Mt. Elbert, Colorado’s highest mountain at 14,433′. Wildlife sightings are common, and if you like wildflowers, this is the location for you. We offer daily rides from May through Labor Day.
We offer rides that are suitable for the whole family including families with small children and we specialize in offering horses and rides for riders of all ages and experience levels. We own and personally maintain all of our own horses which creates a healthy environment and cooperative attitude in our herd. This insures that you will be riding only the highest quality mountain horses.
