Colorado Springs Horseback Riding Adventure Trips

Many of our guests plan several days when visiting the Colorado Springs area and often visit Pikes Peak, Royal Gorge, Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, Cave of the Winds and other local favorites. A one or two hour ride on the spectacular flanks of Pikes Peak overlooking the Great Plains is a perfect addition to a day of visiting these popular attractions. Available year-round.

20 MINUTE CHILDREN'S HORSEBACK RIDE - $17.00 - May 30 - Sep 6 - Flexible departure times
For those too young for the trail ride, we offer a nature walk through the forest with a chance to visit the small farm animals. A guide will lead the child on a full sized horse for a safe riding experience. Childrens stirrups and helmets are available.

1 HOUR HORSEBACK RIDE - $39.00 - May 30 - Sep 6 - Departs 9:00, 10:30, 1:30 & 3:00
Our one-hour ride is for all riding abilities where a knowledgeable guide will escort you through beautiful trails, some of which cross old mining claims, and provide a variety of mountain views. Along the way, you may see over 100 varieties of wildflowers and possibly some of the forest fauna. Mule deer, elk, abert squirrels and other indigenous animals are not an uncommon sight. Call about off-season departure times.

1 HOUR WILDLIFE SAFARI - $49.00 - May 30 - Sep 6 - Departs 9:00, 10:30, 1:30 & 3:00
For a more challenging trial for the intermediate or more experienced rider, we offer the ultimate adventure, the Wildlife Safari. Guests will have the opportunity to ride alongside elk and buffalo. Although we cannot guarantee all animals will be seen, we certainly try our hardest. This is an off trail adventure and can be steep and not advisable for those with serious height issues.

2 HOUR HORSEBACK RIDE - $59.00 - May 30 - Sep 6 - Departs 10:00 & 2:00
We offer a variety of two-hour rides for all riding levels. This may include a pole forest, meandering mountain creek with small falls and climbing through the mining district onto picturesque Mount Vigil or Greyback Mountain. The views are beautiful climbing 1000 feet in elevation with a vista of the city of Colorado Springs 3000 feet below and a 360 view of the Rockies. The flora and rock formations are constantly changing with amazing photo opportunities. Call about off-season departure times.
Minimum of 2 people per trip / Minimum age 8 to ride horse

Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to departure time. This allows you time to check in and relax before your trip departs.
