Parkdale Full-Day Colorado White Water Rafting Trip
Moderate White Water Rafting Near Pueblo, Canon City, and the Royal Gorge

The Arkansas River’s Parkdale section is also known as Lower Bighorn Sheep Canyon. This section is located downstream of the more popular Browns Canyon and Upper Bighorn Sheep Canyon.
The white water rapids through Parkdale are often compared to Browns Canyon in difficulty. During higher water the waves can be somewhat larger, but the white water is usually somewhat less challenging than the white water encountered further upstream on the Arkansas.
The Parkdale section of the Arkansas River has a highway on one side and railroad tracks on the other, so we don’t get a lot of requests from individuals for this section. We only offer this option to groups of 10 people or more that are looking for a new stretch of great white water and that aren’t concerned about being on a more remote section of the Arkansas.
