Colorado Five Day Arkansas River Tour!
If you
are looking for a trip that combine several of the Arkansas' best whitewater
sections into a great multi-day trip, this may be the one for you. Day one
begins in the Narrows, we
continue through Browns
Canyon on day two. Day three passes through Upper
Bighorn Sheep Canyon and day
four passes Lower Bighorn Sheep
Canyon. Depending on the interest and experience level of those on the trip
we can finish the trip around mid-day of day five, or continue through
mid-afternoon and finish on a rollicking note in the
Royal Gorge. Having specialized
in running multi-day rafting trips since 1976, Wilderness Aware has run more
overnight trips on the Arkansas than any other outfitter. This experience gives
us the competitive edge when it comes to organizing your adventure.
This our favorite multi-day trip on the Arkansas and the
longest trip available in Colorado during the mid to late summer. We like this
trip because the group can really get to know each other and develop a sense of
community during the course of the week. This trip is perfect for those with a
week off and looking to really get to know Colorado.
