The Perfect 1/2-Day Whitewater Trip for Families with Children Ages 4-6 or Families with Senior Citizens

Lower Browns Canyon White Water Does your family have children as young as four or maybe have grandma and grandpa that want to raft with the family? Where can you go? This is it!!! The Lower Browns Canyon trip begins downstream of the big rapids of our normal Browns Canyon Half-Day Trip. The river is fast moving here with just enough whitewater to keep the whole family entertained. There are stunning views of the snow capped 14,000 foot Collegiate Peaks to the west, and up-close views of the drier and lower peaks to the east. Huge cottonwood trees line the river and irrigated green pastures make a beautiful foreground view of the alpine scenery. Our goal is to create excitement for the sport of white water rafting without the bigger rapids possibly scaring the less experienced members of the family.

This trip is a perfect compromise between the very short Splash-N-Dash Family Rafting 1/4 Day Trip and the longer Upper Bighorn Family Rafting Full-Day Trip.

Our morning Lower Browns Canyon Half-Day Trip includes a free continental breakfast and all of our Browns Canyon trips finish with a light snack on the return drive to our headquarters in Buena Vista, Colorado.
